Ads and publishing
Why an ad may be saved as a draft
A draft protects your work when required details are missing or a listing cannot safely be published yet.
Common reasons
- A required specialist field is incomplete.
- The chosen category does not match the item or service being advertised.
- A photograph is unsupported or did not finish uploading.
- A regulated category requires an additional declaration or verification.
- The title, description, price or location failed a publishing check.
How to finish the ad
- 1Open My listings and select the draft.
- 2Review every highlighted field, including fields inside category-specific sections.
- 3Confirm the category and listing type are accurate.
- 4Remove and upload any photograph that did not complete.
- 5Save again, then select Publish.
If no field is highlighted
Refresh the page once and reopen the draft from My listings. If publishing still fails, contact support with the ad title, approximate time of the attempt and a screenshot of the message. Never send your password.
Common questions
Will my photos and description be lost?
No. When the draft message appears, the completed information should remain attached to the draft so you can correct and publish it.
Can support publish the ad for me?
Support can investigate the failure and explain the required correction. Restricted or inaccurate listings cannot be bypassed.
