Request account deletion and understand what happens to listings and legally retained records.
Before deleting
- Resolve active conversations or transactions.
- Remove or close listings that are no longer available.
- Download any information you need to keep.
- Check whether a paid promotion or support case is still open.
Submit the request
Use the account deletion page while signed in where possible. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before completing it.
Data retention
Public account access and listings are removed according to the deletion process. Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, financial records, legal obligations or the defence of claims, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Common questions
Can I recover an account after deletion?
Completed deletion may not be reversible. Make sure you have saved anything you need before confirming the request.
Will deleting my account remove every legal record immediately?
Not always. Some limited records may need to be retained where law, security or dispute handling requires it.
