How long your ad stays live
Ads do not expire automatically. Edit or close your listing whenever its details or availability change.
No automatic expiry or availability checks
Published ads, including jobs and wanted ads, have no automatic expiry date and do not require periodic availability confirmation. They remain live until the advertiser closes them or moderation removes them. A date written in an ad, such as an employer's application deadline, still means what the advertiser states. Paid promotions retain their separately purchased duration.
What to do
- Keep the listing accurate while it remains available.
- Edit the price or description if circumstances changed.
- Mark it unavailable or remove it when the item is sold or the request is fulfilled.
- Do not create repeated duplicates to keep an old listing visible.
Common questions
Why did my listing disappear from public results?
It may have been closed by the advertiser or removed through moderation. Ads no longer disappear because a confirmation deadline or automatic expiry date passed. Check My listings or contact support.
What happens to ads hidden under the old expiry policy?
Eligible ads hidden automatically can be restored after their history and eligibility are checked. Sold ads and deliberate seller or administrator removals are not automatically restored. The original listing URL and publication date are preserved.
