Listing intentions
- For sale means the advertiser is offering an item for a price.
- Wanted means the advertiser is looking for an item or service.
- Swap means an exchange is proposed.
- Free means no purchase price is requested, although collection arrangements still matter.
Make a clear offer
State the amount or exchange clearly and wait for acceptance. An enquiry or offer does not complete a transaction by itself. Confirm condition, included items, collection and any payment before meeting.
Common questions
Is an accepted message offer legally processed by Local Ads?
Local Ads provides communication tools but is not normally the buyer, seller or payment provider. Users remain responsible for the transaction they agree.
Can a seller refuse an offer?
Yes. Advertisers can accept, reject or negotiate unless another binding arrangement has been made outside the marketplace tools.
