Fix listing photo upload problems

Prepare supported images and recover when an upload stalls, fails or appears missing.

Use suitable images

  • Use common JPEG, PNG or WebP files.
  • Upload photographs you own and that show the actual item.
  • Avoid extremely large files, unsupported formats and screenshots containing private details.
  • Keep the browser open until every upload finishes.

If an upload does not finish

  1. 1Wait for any active upload indicator to finish.
  2. 2Remove the failed image and add it again.
  3. 3Try one image first to confirm the connection is stable.
  4. 4Refresh the draft only after confirming your text was saved.
  5. 5Try a current browser or another network if the issue continues.

When contacting support

Include the ad title, number of images, file type, device and approximate time of the failure. Do not attach identity documents or unrelated personal photographs.

Common questions

Why is the first photo important?

The first image is normally used as the listing cover and social-sharing preview, so choose the clearest representative photo.

Can I publish without photographs?

Some categories may allow it, but clear original photographs substantially improve buyer understanding and trust.
