Look for inconsistencies early
Not every suspicious ad is a scam, but most scams hide details. A clear business profile, verified details and consistent communication are often the first clues.
Red flags to check
- No company profile or no link between ad text and public contact page
- Vague job scope and changing role details across messages
- Requests for money, gift cards, or card PIN info
- Pressure to move outside safe communication channels
- No clear interview date, interviewer identity, or office context
If any signal does not align, stop the process and report through localads support before sharing further information.
